Chris Cote, Interim President

Chris holds a BS from Quinnipiac University and a MHS degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and has been involved with Summit Christian Academy since 2002. Chris currently works within the computer industry and also has many years of experience as an occupational therapist. He is a strong advocate of Summit Christian Academy as God's instrument for the building of tomorrow's leaders.

Tonya Preece, Secretary

Tonya holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin.  Since 1996, she has been the business manager for a forensic engineering firm that specializes in accident reconstruction. She is also a Certified Bookkeeper and novelist. Her family has been involved with SCA since 2001.  Tonya is a strong supporter of Summit’s vision and its role in preparing students for excellence.

David Schnucker

David holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Missouri - Rolla. He is a martial arts instructor with a Christ-centered teaching style. For the past ten years, David has been involved with aiding various manufacturing companies with quality and process efficiency improvements. He strongly believes in a mission of impacting the world for Christ through our legacy...children. David has three children who have been a part of the SCA family since 2007.

Scott MacLeod

Scott currently serves as the Commander of one of the nation’s 10 Homeland Response Forces, responsible for providing military support to civilian first responders throughout FEMA Region VI (Texas, OK, New Mexico and LA).   Colonel MacLeod has more than 28 years of service, two deployments to Iraq, and is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College. He is also an adult discipleship leader and Sunday School Teacher at his church, GT Austin. The MacLeod family has been involved with Summit since 2009 

Gary Kidwell

Gary holds a BS in electrical engineering physics from Texas Tech University. He works for a semiconductor company in the computing industry, specializing in power engineering. Gary also served as an Infantryman in the US Army’s 10th Mountain Division. His family has been at Summit since 2011 and he is blessed to help support SCA teachers, staff and students as they impact the world for Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Jerry Anderson

Jerry grew up in northeastern Minnesota.  After three years in the Army he moved to Texas where he owned and operated 2 hotels.  He and his family have been a part of SCA since 2011.  They have a daughter who graduated from Summit and currently have a son and host an international student who attends SCA. Jerry is committed to the Summit vision and has a passionate heart for the staff, teachers, and families at SCA.
