At Summit Christian Academy, athletics are an important part of life. The qualities that lead to success in athletics -- competition, hard work, discipline, character, and full use of one's ability -- can lead to greater success in life. By emphasizing participation and fun, Summit maintains a proper perspective about the role of athletics in a school community. We give our students many opportunities to compete in team and individual sports. Competitive programs begin in fifth grade and continue through the secondary level in high school.

Summit's Impact Education program is a vital part of our educational philosophy. Impact Education lies at the core of Summit's vision and mission and is at the heart of our core values in both character development and service leadership.
Teach by example that missions (reaching out) is a lifestyle God desires for each of us.
Encourage students to reach out to others by serving in their homes and communities.
Inspire students to pray for the people they serve and to learn through prayer what is on God's heart.
Introduce students to the exciting ways God's people are "reaching out" in their communities and around the world.
Foster an environment where the students desire to see others come to know Christ as their Savior.
Create learning opportunities about world missions.
Partner with other missions' ministries on an on-going basis by building relationships with them and providing opportunities for students to interact with them.
