PhD Physicist on Staff at
Summit Christian Academy
Dr. Sebastien Founta is a physicist teaching our students physics, AP physics, Dual Credit astronomy and chemistry, at Summit Christian Academy. He earned his Master's degree in Physics from the University of Joseph Fourier in 2003, and his Doctorate in nanosciences and technology from Joseph Fourier in 2007.
Dr. Founta is published and brings rich and practical experience to our classrooms, excelling our students to their highest possible levels. Stop by and meet Dr. Founta. You will find his content knowledge and pleasant personality refreshing and engaging.
Statement of Policy

Spirit Week Oct 3-7
Spirit Week is the week of Homecoming! Each day has a theme, and students can dress up for that theme. If they do not want to dress up, they can wear a uniform. Students must still be modest, but are encouraged to dress up. Students can wear hats, but teachers can ask for them to be removed in class. The week culminates with Grandparents Day and Homecoming Pep Rally.
The theme days for Hollywood Homecoming are as follows:
M- Pajama Day
T- Western Day (like cowboys)
W- Holiday Day (dress up as a holiday, but NO Halloween)
Th- Hollywood Day/Red Carpet
F- Spirit Day (red, white, and blue/school spirit)

Our seniors received total cumulative merit-based scholarships of $2,117,145. They also served a total of 3,748hours in Austin, the United States and Worldwide.
